General Manager (maternity cover)

Good Chance are looking for maternity cover for our General Manager position, to fulfil a 6-month fixed-term contract from late August 2024 - February 2025, with the opportunity to potentially extend. The General Manager is a pivotal role at Good Chance, working closely with the leadership team to support the running of the day-to-day operations, governance and administration of the organisation and contributing to projects, productions and the overall strategic vision of the company.

We are looking for someone with a passionate commitment to the arts and social justice, highly organised and driven with experience of arts administration and creative work. As a positive and constructive thinker, you will be used to making decisions and taking initiative. You will be efficient, accurate and detail-oriented, a self-starter with the ability to work independently and prioritise tasks in the context of a large and varied set of demands. You will enjoy being organised and working as part of a team, bringing clear communication and a positive, collaborative attitude, ready to jump in and roll up your sleeves. You will bring your experience in project and personnel management to support the overall running of the organisation through effective organisational, operational, project and event management.

Salary: £34,000 - £36,000pa, pro rata.
Hours: 4-5 days per week, general office hours are 10am - 6pm. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
Location: Good Chance Offices in Shoreditch (E1 6LA) with remote working 1 day per week.
Start date: Official start date late August 2024 with a handover week scheduled w/c 29th July 2024.
